OK SO THIS IS NOT A PROPER ENTRY I AM SO SORRY!!!

Stop nagging me on facebook.  I am going to post soon. 

I just finished reading Neil Gaiman's Sandman - I am emotionally fragile! Which is why I read vols 1 and 2 of Fantastic Four's Future Foundation.  I will admit to peeing my pants a little bit from excitement.

This doesnt justify my poor correspondence.

I listened to an interesting podcast this morning.  It made me think of this.  I hope this offering can give me your forgiveness:


I am going to post very sooooon - I have assignments and presents and thingies waaaah imsosorrryyyyyyyyyy.

Also - I am the only one in my group who hasn't finished Dishonored.  Damn straight you should feel sorry for me.  PITY ME! I DEMAND IT - fuck that shit - challenge accepted.

Seriously - Friday night - sober? Why? My Epileptically Coloured Childhood Cartoons

So when I was younger I used to watch a cartoon called Jem. I did research on it a while ago and found out it was a cartoon made to promote a set of new toys that were being released. Either way, I adored Jem - it had 0% princess in it and it wasn't anime. Yeah - it's THAT old... shut up Even though I predominantly grew up on anime, mainly because Spain was importing what I presume was cheap cartoons from Japan as opposed to the US, I had some pretty staple western cartoons to look back on, one being X-men, Thundercats and the other being Jem, even if it didn't air for that long. I have really muddled memories of the cartoon, I was so young and so ADD without actually being ADD. But I mainly remember that Jem was the lead singer in a band - and she had magic earrings that changed her costume and appearance to whatever she wanted. Shhh…. do you hear that? Seriously, listen closely… You know what that sound is? That is the sound of me not having any more post-graduate assignments for this year.  I am now officially diploma-fied for the year and frankly, my masters can effing wait because I am freeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeee eeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! I may have done this too... with or without a Varren... Yeah – that’s right bitch.  I don’t care about the use of home-made incendiary devices, or the destabilising effects of drug trafficking on a state’s security regime.  Please don’t ask me about the involvement of non-state actors in sponsoring an insurgency and please please please do not mention the word ‘paramilitary’ at me for the rest of this whole year.
